Organisation

At Forton Primary and Pre-School children are accommodated in a Foundation Stage Unit. The children follow the same curriculum and are therefore taught together as one class with differentiated activities.

During the sessions the children follow a timetable which takes into account their need for a wide range of practical experiences and play activities. The children have access to outdoor play.

There is a snack table in the unit. Water and fresh fruit are available to the children throughout the day.

Costings

We are an eligible provider of the Free Early Education (FEE) for 3 and 4 year olds. This can be up to 30 hours and includes the 15 hours UNIVERSAL FUNDING and the 15 hours EXTENDED FUNDING where the parents/carers are eligible, for the term after your child’s third birthday onwards. The funding is provided TERM TIME ONLY.

Parents will be required to complete a parental agreement form to confirm their child’s details and sessions booked. 

The funding covers the cost of childcare between the hours 8.55 am- 3.25 pm 

15 Government Funded Hours covers 2 full days plus 9.00 am - 11.00 am on the third day.  Any hours after this will be charged at £4 per hour.

Children can bring their own packed lunch or choose a school meal at a cost of £2.50 per meal)

Full day session - £26 per day.

AM and PM Club

We run a before and after school that Pre-School children can also attend.

AM Club - £4           (8.00 – 8.55 am)

PM Club - £8.50      (3.15 – 5.30pm – 5pm on a Friday)
