SCHOOL MEALS

Our hot meals are cooked on site and are extremely popular with the both the children and the staff! All meals are planned and prepared in line with current Government guidelines for healthy standards and the development of healthy food choices. Money for these can be brought into school or paid for online at schoolscom. The cost is currently £12.00 per week. Children may also choose to bring packed lunches from home: we encourage these to include healthy options. Children in Reception and KS1 currently receive a free school meal each day.

The lunch time tables are in social groupings, with a Year 6 leader and children of mixed ages.  All children are encouraged to care for and help the younger children on their table. Welfare staff are known to the children as they are teaching assistants within the school, which we feel provides excellent continuity of care.
